Freedom Dog Rescue dedicates their time to rescuing abandoned dogs. They provide the dogs with a temporary home until they can be well-matched and find their forever home.
The original website was very outdated and bland. This organization's story is incredible. It was important to demostrate their story throughout the website.
I began establishing a gray colour palette for the brand, since we want to represent sadness of abandoned dogs. However I wanted to bring some joy to the website as well, that's when I brought in the dark blue and the orange which worked well together.
My favourite part of any project is creating a logo. I ended up with something simple and to the point.
The website's homepage is simple and straight to the point. The colours bring out the story this company is trying to tell.
The website is fully functional on all screen sizes. The website automatically adjusts it's size to fit smaller screens.
The final website was simple and clean. It made it easier to read the information and was inviting to keep learning about the organization. The website was able to capture the story of sadness in abandoned dogs but happiness with finding their forever homes.
